2021/2022

A graduate from both Western (Ontario) and Utrecht University, Austin first came to the Buccaneers as a player for the 2019-2020 season before volunteering to coach this year. The 26 year old Canadian has played hockey for 21 years, and has been a certified referee for 12. The young coach brings a defensive style to the game, focusing on the fundamentals of skating and the development of one’s anticipatory hockey knowledge.
